A Success Story at an Aerospace Company

This manufacturing facility builds its industry famous gear boxes and drive shafts to support all the military and commercial helicopters produced by the company.

The facility was struggling to produce the number of gear boxes and components to support the final assembly of the military and commercial helicopters. The project was approaching a critical government contract approval phase and needed to improve the on time delivery to demonstrate the ability to meet its commitments.

In September 2006 this American Aerospace company and RLG began a project focused on improving bottom line results of the Build Team.

The company builds a multi-mission, heavy-lift transport helicopter. Its primary mission is to move troops, artillery, ammunition, fuel, water, barrier materials, supplies and equipment on the battlefield. Its secondary missions include medical evacuation, disaster relief, search and rescue, aircraft recovery, fire fighting, parachute drops, heavy construction and civil development.
