RLG presents at Australian Petroleum Conference

Apr 06, 2014

Each year APPEA (Australian Petroleum Production & Exploration Association) holds an annual conference which has become the largest oil and gas industry gathering in the southern hemisphere. This year’s conference took place in April at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. While the general focus of the conference is to reflect on the current and future potential of Australian oil and gas on the global market, this year’s key theme was to elevate the impacts of capital project management, the cost of doing business in Australia, and their effect on the industry’s viability.

In support of this year’s theme, Ben Aplanalp and Aaron Richer from our Australian Business Unit delivered two separate posters (1) and (2) at the conference focusing  on specific RLG tools that drive performance improvements – on optimization results of TMP™ (Theoretical Maximum Performance) and the implementation of boardwalks to drive cross-functional accountability. Ben is currently working a project for a large oil and gas company in Darwin, Northern Territory leading shutdown optimization work with significant results savings, while Aaron is supporting a client in their operations readiness and commissioning deliverables as they prepare to take over a large LNG facility.
