On Sunday, October 6, 2013 a worldwide team of 83 RLGers and their family and friends participated in the annual Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure in honour and support of a dear colleague and for all of their loved ones who have fought or who are fighting breast cancer.

This annual event, Canada’s largest single day event dedicated to raising money for breast cancer research, awareness and education, was held in 66 sites across Canada with some remote teams worldwide.  RLG had the largest single contingent of participants in the Vancouver event with 45 people running or walking 1 km or 5 km, with other teams of RLGers participating in the Okanagan (B.C.), Toronto, Denver, Aberdeen (UK), Moscow, and Irkutsk. Collectively, our fundraising efforts raised $15,325 for this important cause.
