Ate-VisserMr. Ate Visser joins RLG’s Executive Advisory Council as a senior executive with over 36 years of broad, international experience in the energy and chemicals industry. Mr. Visser has successfully developed and managed large integrated upstream and midstream natural gas/LNG, Gas-to-Liquids and Chemicals businesses. Through focus and inspiring innovation, he was able to unlock significant value from existing businesses or assets. His strengths are overcoming technical challenges and recognizing business opportunities. During his Shell career, he served as a member of various regional and global Shell Leadership Teams, including Upstream Asia, Integrated Gas and Shell Chemicals..

Most recently, Mr. Visser served as Vice President Pennsylvania Chemicals, responsible for developing a new multi-billion-dollar world-scale ethane cracker and polyethylene manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania, USA, based on the vast Marcellus and Utica shale gas reserves. Previously, he held the title of Vice President Integrated Gas Ventures East and Managing Director of Shell MDS Sdn Bhd in Malaysia, responsible for Shell’s Integrated Gas assets in Asia. Other prior roles include Vice President Nigeria at Shell Gas and Power International B.V., The Netherlands, and Commercial Director, Sakhalin Energy Investment Company Ltd., Russia.

Mr. Visser came to know RLG and experienced its significant contributions to the Royal Dutch Shell Group over the years, both in upstream and downstream. RLG’s methodologies, professionalism and ability to connect to all layers in the organization are impressive and ensure that immediate learning takes place and organizational improvements are sustained.
