For Capital Projects and Turnarounds, we deploy Project Excellence™. For routine maintenance, our Maintenance Excellence™ toolkit provides the right balance of process improvement and people engagement. On Capital Projects and Turnarounds:

  • We assess readiness at intervals between 15 and 3 months before execution. Our performance experts provide valuable observations and scoring, with recommendations for immediate action. We also assess the project office and functions, highlighting areas of strength and gaps, risks and opportunities.
  • We improve communication and accountability by setting up an effective planning Operating Rhythm™. With the project team, contractors and owners, we involve all groups in the process, removing silos and creating “One Team”.
  • We work alongside schedulers and engineers to optimize the plan. Using Scope Challenge, Schedule Quality Review and our TMP™ process, the best plan is produced.
  • We work alongside major Engineering firms to boost compliance with engineering schedules. This sets up projects for success early in the planning stage.

In Operations and Maintenance:

  • We assess, quantify and pinpoint opportunity using our comprehensive Maintenance Excellence™ assessment and project implementation process.
  • We look at business profit drivers, asset performance data, and leading and lagging KPIs using both financial and operational data.
  • We evaluate 12 key process areas in the maintenance work flow and supporting functions. With scoring, comparison to benchmarks and clear actions, this creates the plan and sets the baseline.
  • We observe and appraise key meetings and interactions between teams against our Operating Rhythm™ communication and accountability model, with a particular focus on the Operations / Maintenance interface.
  • We implement improvements together with your team. Using a balanced approach of doing, coaching and facilitating, we capture results while creating a sustainable shift in both processes and behaviors.
