Bill Ambrose

Mr. Bill Ambrose joins RLG’s Executive Advisory Council as a versatile executive whose international career has provided a wealth of experience and expertise in the areas of workforce engagement, operational excellence, capital project management, crisis management, and strategy development with effective implementation. Currently, he is consulting with businesses to grow and improve their performance. In his previous roles with Transocean, Ltd., he served most recently as the Senior Vice President, Technical Services. In this role, Mr. Ambrose oversaw engineering, maintenance, and reliability of the fleet as well as asset divestitures, a drilling rig construction program valued at over $6 billion, and a brownfield project portfolio up to a $2 billion annual spend.

While at Transocean, Mr. Ambrose worked with RLG on several important projects including: an offshore operations program on drilling rigs focused to enhance planning and execution behaviors to deliver increase equipment reliability, reduce the Between Well Maintenance durations, and the embedding of a stage gate process for the company’s upgrade and repair project work.
